The artist, Anthony Prado is a truly dedicated fire-fighter at Marina Fire Department, CA. He is a nephew of one of our very active board members, Cheryl Barsanti. When he first asked his supervisor if he could paint the mural, his boss along with his co-workers were very skeptical. On his own time and resources, he worked after hours to get the mural done. As the mural unfolded little by little, his company began to take pride in his work.

The mural helped create a special bond within the department. It now stands as the symbol of their commitment to the department’s work.
